Cracky fics about two hot guys who kill monsters, and their friend the clueless angel. Lots of other characters but I've already got enough tags.

In last night's double-episode finale:

Toni died
Ketch died
Hess died (I didn't know her name until it was mentioned on Twitter)
Buncha hunters died
Rowena died
Kelly died
Crowley died
Castiel died

Mary was sucked into Bizarro Post-Apocalypse World along with Lucifer, where dragged-out-of-mothballs Bobby was (I think) a freedom fighter or a random trigger-happy guy.

There's a weird looking person with a creepy smile named Jack, who I guess is going to be next season's Big Bad.

I called it as far as Castiel and Crowley.  Cas hasn't had a decent storyline since Season 6.  Crowley, as delightful as he was, had basically nothing to do and no purpose.  So I presume we're getting another "reset" as they inevitably say before the start of the next season.  Oh, and next season's taking your mind off this season's thing is a crossover Scooby Doo episode. For fuck's sake.

I'm not terribly affected by any of the deaths, except Rowena, who deserved better.  The show has been crawling along like a dying rabbit for several years now.  The funny thing is, when I told Jeff that I wasn't going to watch Season 13, he said, "Don't you want to see what happens?"

Uh, no.

This episode pissed me off to actually write a review!  Yeah, a lot of fans were creaming their jeans over badass!Sam (with hurt and blood); Cas/Dean, Mark Pellegrino, Dean DONTFUCKWITHMYBROTHER Winchester, and other stuff I can't remember or will mention farther down in my review.  There are spoilers.  Why do reviewers and recappers warn for spoilers?  What are they supposed to say: "Sam's in Hell. Dean finds him. Crowley's nasty, Lucifer's nastier, uh, that's all we can tell you.  Oh, the Darkness is in there somewhere."

Dammit, Mark Pellegrino needs to stick around. )

Eugenie Ross-Leming and Brad Buckner continue their soul-destroying run of terribly written episodes with "Dark Dynasty," sloppily directed by Bob Singer.

If it looks like a duck, it's this episode )

Takes place right after episode 9x01, 'I Think I'm Gonna Like It Here'.

Cas shivered. His stolen clothes were too light.

“What?” he thought. “My stomach isn’t full. The fullness is too far below.”

He ducked down an alley, into the darkness, to inspect himself. He knew from the all the times Dean yelled at him that humans disrobed in private.

The former angel unzipped his pants. Cas couldn’t see anything wrong.

There was something coming out of his--what did Dean call it--his junk! He grabbed the junk, pointed it at the wall to keep it off himself, and sprayed the brick. He felt tremendous relief.

“Was that my first orgasm?”
